my favorite 2k17 shots I took
kinda ironic since I just started in steemit this December lol.
I've decided to select my FIVE favorite pictures I myself had taken this year.
The order doesn't reflect my "like-ness," simply the arrangement with which I had taken them: from newest to oldest~
Photo of my piggy with kapibara-san that I took on Guinea Pig Appreciation Day as my participation on the said celebration. It was my first time to use an external flash so my brother taught and assisted me in the process.
when I was already in the post-processing stage, I was amazed because my piggy somehow looked like a painting.
we were in the farm of my parents' friend, practicing how to use one of my brother's favorite lenses for an upcoming event, when this stray dog suddenly passed by. I prepared my camera, called her out and she immediately turned for a pose (=^▽^=)
So amazing how photogenic she was, as well as how gorgeous the bokeh turned out —what my brother and I call a "bokehlicious [shot]"
This is one of the photos I took as my entry to bcn3dcults contest. I didn't make it to the top 30 because it was based on the number of "likes," I submitted it on the last day (haha!) and I felt rather awkward asking in various 3d printing groups for assistance.
Still, it was fun making as it was my first time to use acrylic paints on 3d printed model (o^∀^o)
I'm considering on sharing WIPs [work-in-progress] like coloring 3d printed models here :D would anyone happen to be interested?
I was grinning like him, when the courier informed me of my 3d printer's arrival, and much more when I received the box. Inside it is cetus3d from kickstarter that I have been waiting for.
So my roller coaster adventure in 3d printing began!
my other piggy, taken after bath (♥ω♥ ) ~♪ He is so tamed that I never find difficulty in taking his pictures.
This time, I tried a different approach and made the mood soft; the colors reminded me of marshmallow.

I've been debating the use of watermark before I created my account here. But as you can see, I didn't use any.
so here's the least I could think of to prove that I had taken those pictures myself, because I also uploaded them to different web platforms before which some might think I simply have stolen lol.
I have the RAW files !(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
In my next posts, I'm thinking to blatantly indicate that it was taken by me haha! Maybe a paper with my steemit username on the background or something~
I have many ideas that I would love to materialize and share with y'all this 2018

we used to have a dog. He's a Labrador and extremely well behaved whenever he was around our piggies.
Impressive photography, hope I could do this things only using mobile phones
Although all of them were taken using a DSLR camera, I'm certain the fourth pic can be done with mobile while the last one would require some enhancements in an editing software or app.
As for the rest I'm not sure, but I've seen pics like this that were taken by smartphone plus special lens... So maybe there are phone lenses now that can be used to produce similar effect of my pics 1-3

I have also tried various ways of uploading a proof of authenticity. A selfie or a picture of your camera's display might be a good idea if you're not on your PC.

Actually, my entry is more like an accident as I wasn't aware that the #animalphotography tag is used for an ongoing contest then. I contacted juliank and informed him of my terrible mistake; he said 'twas alright.
In any case, I'm happy my piggy was chosen! Not to mention it's the thumbnail used for the post ^_^
