Food Photography: Dessert Loving
Who doesn't love dessert? I know I am. Here is a strawberry cake and strawberry-mango bingsu. Of course, everyone knows what strawberry cake is but maybe some of you are not familiar of the dessert Bingsu.
Bingsu is a popular Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit and condensed milk. I've only tried it twice and both times here in Thailand. Funny thing is I haven't tried or heard of this dessert when I was in Korea only when I went to Bangkok that a friend introduced this to me. So when we were in Chiang Mai, I immediately ordered this when I saw it in the menu.

Strawberry Bingsu I had in Bangkok
Bingsu actually is very similar to a dessert we have in the Philippines called "Halo-Halo". It also has shaved ice, condensed milk & fruit toppings. The difference probably is on the way it is served & the way you eat them.
Happy eating everyone! 😊
