Brick house with flower garden in São Paulo, Brazil

Walking in a sunny day I crossed this brick house with its garden with a lot of flowers. I don't know anything about gardening and landscape design but I'm sure this is really a succesfull work.

I think that the flower species chosen, colors, sizes, the blossom timing, was very joyful, a gift to the neighbours and the people who uses the walkway in Higienópolis neighbourhood in the city of São Paulo (Brazil).

Low fence

The foreigners could not notice because low or no fence are an usual thing but here in São Paulo, like other places where poverty and unequality creates an atmosphere of fear and violence, the most common are high walls, closed and fortress like houses. Thanks to this house owner that keep its low fences as a reminder from the time the city were most calm and peaceful.
