The Coloured Ear
I've found this strange and colourful sculpture in Vienna, near my hotel. When I first saw it, I didn't get it... I mean, why an ear? But after learning what the building was, it made perfect sense.
This is the front of the The Funkhaus Wien (The Broadcasting House) - the broadcasting station of the ORF Studios in Vienna and the oldest radio station in Austria.
The place was very quiet at the time. It almost seemed empty... Well, there was at least one person there. I wonder what was he waiting for.
These little pieces of art are a breath of fresh air, in the middle of the city. They really break up the monotony of the cityscape.

When I saw this colorful ear, I also thought :"Why ear?"I decided not to look into the further text, to guess what it is connected with. But I guess. Only the plastic surgery clinic came to mind. Where they can make your ears beautiful.
