The day is passing me by

I spent 20 minutes today just on a bench chilling. I don't often do this anymore which is a shame, once upon a time it was one of my favourite past times. Do you ever do that? Just find a nice seat and watch the world turn..

My senses perked up

I begin to smell the street air, some food is being fried nearby, possibly a burger being grilled or a chicken schwarma being made. It smells good.

I can hear car horns blaring in the distance and some far off fire truck roaring its siren.

Idea's pass through my head about the differences between a big city and a small town. In one moment thoughts have shifted as someone walks past catches my eye. The clothes people wear, the styles. Beards with sunglasses. Purple hair with fur coats. The slow movers. All the while I'm just sat pondering the passing world.
One last breathe of the still moving world all around me and off I go.
