THE VIEW FROM ABSTRACT EYES

PERHAPS THE PHOTO IS NOT WHAT IS TRULY ABSTRACT HERE. WHAT IF IT WERE YOUR OWN PERCEPTION?
The same can be said about the lives we live, in just about every aspect of life to be honest. It is far too often that we find ourselves looking at things from a perspective that was created inside of us by another source. Most of the views that we carry today, sure enough, were impacted by the thoughts and perspectives of other individuals. We hold these people in such high regard that we begin to mimic their thought process by attempting to see life from their eyes. Some of these individuals are close to us, some of them are pillars to society, some of them are those in which we admire and look up to. One thing is for certain though, we have adopted their perspective and blended it with our own, which ultimately dictates how we view things. Politics, religion, workmanship......these all are indirectly and directly shaped by the ideas and ideals of other human beings.
So, say that we actually stepped back and re-evaluated things? Have we actually tried to take in the view from another light or perspective? Have we ever truly viewed things from a state of mind that is of our own creation? What if the view is actually nicer from the other side? What if perhaps some of these people that we hold so dear to us have been looking at things wrong the whole time? What if their perspective that has molded and impacted us, truly is not the healthiest way to view something? What if the way we are taught to look at things is actually the wrong way?
Imagine the beauty one can see on a daily basis if they just open their minds along with their eyes when they gaze at something? I have written this thought invoking piece to hopefully show you that there is something in this life you should view from abstract eyes. Something in your life, which normally appears bland or normal, has a hidden, untapped beauty just waiting to be admired. Take this picture for example. From a normal perspective, prior to editing, this was nothing more than dying vegetation attempting to survive by producing fruit, in a harsh environment none the less. The description of this photo paints this depressing, rather dull idea and perspective, does it not? Yet, the photograph in this article displays a beautiful, vibrant "abstract" picture. Maybe this picture's display is truly the right way to gaze upon it. Instead of looking at things the way we typically do every day, maybe we are meant to take in the view from abstract eyes when we look at life. A great representation of life can be found in this picture if we are open to seeing it from a different perspective.
