MacroThursday - The Morning Dew
I have been watching the #macrothursday hashtag and the contest put on my @juliank for a little while, and I've been itching to enter something. This is the week that I am going to begin, so here is my entry:
MacroThursday Entry
It is amazing how beautiful run-of-the-mill things actually are when you look at them up close. Take the morning dew for example.
Dew On A Leaf
From our normal view, it just looks like water, but when you really look, you can see each little drop.

All photos taken by me using Canon Rebel T3; Lens Model: EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II. Macro shots were taken using a cheap screw on macro adapter; post processing performed using Darktable unless otherwise labeled.
Thanks for reading today’s article! If you're into science, nature, or photography, maybe you would like to check out some of my other recent content:
great work. like it.
Awesome pic , i too have a rebel 3 where did you procure the adapter in order to do marcos with the stock lense ?
It was basically this but a different brand. It is two lenses that work together to give you wide angle shots. The wide angle sucks (at least mine did), but the little part that says "macro" unscrews and works as a stand-alone adapter. I had to buy a step ring to get it to fit my lens, but it was a couple of bucks.
