Macro photography - stem

One way to make a subject look interesting in the photo is to show it from a new angle and perspective that usually is not shown. That's why macro photography is interesting in most cases, because the subject shown in the picture, was not seen like this before. In real life, this 2-3 mm wide stem is a small, tiny stem like so many other stems in the garden that is not worth taking photo of, but when you get close enough, it looks interesting enough to convince you to take a photo.
