Holidays in the Allgäu - Day 3, The Allgäu´s big three: Trettachspitze, Mädelegabel and Hochfrottspitze

At the third day day of our holidays we set out for our first hike towards the main ridge of the Allgäu mountains (see part 1 and part 2 of this holiday series).
The weather forecast was promising and so we had a decent chance to catch a view on the Allgäu´s so-called Dreigestirn (triumvirate), Trettachspitze, Mädelegabel and Hochfrottspitze.
The hike starts at the Einödsbach, Germany´s most southern settlement.
At the entry of the vally we could catch a first sight on the Trettachspitze (2559 m).
On the left the Einödsbach, fueled with the snowmelt from the mountains.
Our first rest at an old waterworks.
Healthy well-fed cows...
...and strong horses along our way.
Finally, the Allgäu´s big three. Trettachspitze, Mädelegabel and Hochfrottspitze from left to right. Partly covered in clouds, though.

Die Allgäuer Alpen! Wieder mal meisterlich herausgearbeitet. Ja, die Trettachspitze gehört zu den schwierigen Gipfeln dort, genau wir die mehrgipfelige Höfats. Das sind für mich alles noch offene Herausforderungen; mal sehen, was noch geht in den nächsten Jahren.
Danke Dir für die lobenden Worte. Die Trettachspitze erfordert anspruchsvolles Bergsteigen mit solider Klettererfahrung, da bin ich als Bergwanderer dann auch nicht mehr mit dabei. Die Höfats Gipfels sind für mich tatsächlich mit die reizvollsten Gipfel des Allgäus. Die haben eine ganz besondere Wirkung auf mich, besonders beim Blick vom Nebelhorn aus. Hut ab, dass die Besteigung solcher Gipfel grundsätzlich für Dich in Frage kommt.

What a beautiful scenery!!! I'm falling in love with Germany just by looking at your photos. I'm sure you guys are having fun. Keep posting more pics about your experience. I shall visit these mountains when i come to Germany.

hey man. are you hdr'ing with some of these? I love hdr, most of my landscapes are hdr. The colors are just so vibrant. just keep doing what you are doing. your sheeit is dialed in mate. see ya.
hey @runrudy, sry for the late reply. No, these are not HDR but I agree that some of the shots look as if. During editing I had to stretch the tonal curve quite a bit which lets some of the shots appear somewhat HDRish.

During my previous Trips to the Allgäu I visited Dorschhausen Bad Wörishofen.
Really enjoyed it - what a nature !
You can go in summer, but the winter time is even better, as the destination is
not that famaous and overcroded like other ones. The Nebelhorn and the Kleinwalsertal region
I think are very good for sking and other wintersports !
Thank you very much for commenting and for the positive feedback. Absolutely, the region has a lot to offer in wintertime, too. As you say, Kleinwalsertal is a great spot for wintersports, in particular for the smaller family members.
