Good luck reproducing that! Your photos are amazing and no client has the right to disrespect your hard work and craftmanship.

Ah well, it's all about what the customer wants to spend, if he honestly thinks it's not worth it, then that's his rightful thinking. I honestly think he was just trying to lower the price, even more, to see how low I would go. Who wouldn't try it as a fresh businessman, got to give him credit for that. What he didn't know was that I'm not that kind of guy and I don't like to play with my bread, especially after I already cut it. Others may, but I am not working for crumbs as long as there are clients who are willing to give me two loaves of bread instead for the same amount of work. There are plenty of talented photographers out there that would do it for less. We just wasted our time, and that's what bothers me the most.

I have a great post. Thank you for a nice post.

Great to hear! Thanks.

Ah yeah, clients can sometimes be such cunts but sometimes you just gotta drop them and make them learn the lessons.

Sometimes the money is just not worth it...

Don't get me wrong, the guy seems to be decent enough to understand how it works. Maybe he tried too hard to see how low I could go and didn't expect such a harsh and direct reply since I left no space for more negotiation. Even if I were dead-broke, money has no interest to me. I know I got to pay the bills and that I need it in order to do 'fun' stuff, and that it always come in handy. It would've been a fun project though! Love to photograph quality stuff.
