Asian Sunday: Angkor Wat, Cambodia
I am submitting this photo as an entry for the "7 World's Continents Photo" challenge and to day being Sunday, it is Asian Sunday.
Angkor Wat, Cambodia's most iconic temple covers a site of over 160 hectares making it the largest religious monument in the world. It was originally a Hindu temple, constructed to worship Vishnu but was converted over the years into a Buddhist temple. It is a very popular tourist destination and its grand architecture vowed visitors from all over the world.
