Macro-photography of our fine, feathered friends.
Besides being a great source of eggs, meat, and pest control, poultry can just also just be incredibly beautiful, especially when the amazing colors, patterns, and hues are examined on a closer level. Since we’ve got some available to photograph, I figured that we would share.
We hope that you enjoy them as much as we do! They sure are some amazing creatures!

How'd ya get'em to hold still?
Every once in a while they stop... like when one of the @little-peppers grabs them.
That open tent coop caught my eyes. Although I should be admiring the feathery plume, I gravitated to the coop. Simple yet practical. You can take a boy out the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy.
You got deported?
Man, I hate it when they take the boy out of the country... At least you still have internet access. Steem on!

Those are some pretty feathers for tying flies for fishing, lol. Nice photos and I hope your chickens are enjoying their pest control duties! : )
