Dragalevtsi forest, in the vicinity of the monastery
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. This is a medium format film photo dyptich. It shows the forest Dragalevtsi at Vitosha mountain, near Sofia- Bulgarian capital. Dragalevtsi is a village, which now is a suburb of the city. Dragalevtsi monastery "Virgin Mary of Vitosha" had been established during the reign of tsar Ivan Alexander (1331-1371). Important and beautiful Medieval frescoes were preserved in the Church of this Holy place.
