🍒 "Entropy": A Photo Series About Time ENG/SPA 🍒
Today I want to share with you, my own view on TIME, the photo series is called "Entropy" and beneath each pic, I added a brief description.
Feedback and comments are all welcome 😊
Metal rusts loses its shape, its function, its structure is weakened. Once it was a part of a complex system that worked, but after a functional life, this is what remains.
Meanwhile, around, life, that other system, reborns from its three-month nap. It finds its way, even between the artificial.
Heat time is when the Sun last the most on the sky. It is when the temperature rises most and an artificial weather that lowers it down; but also is the time when rain pours and begins to rust.
One day, parts stop working and gazes, nostalgic, those rays they used to fight.

After awhile, everything begins to overthrow. What used to hold starts to decay, dry, disintegrate.
Days when they proudly stood in the air are now in the past.
Everything is dead, lifeless, decadent. Its function is past, now the only thing left is to sleep the dream of putrescence, an inescapable future.
But, even if it doesn't look like it, it's no the end, the cycle renews leaving the door open to a new beginning.

I like the photogaphs very much. It is important to see beauty in everything today, not only new and shiny things. Lovely!
Exactly! @k4r1nn there is beauty in everything, not only in the new stuff, and you will see more pictures of old stuff on my feed 😉
Very creative and nice post.
great post and pictures. like that you also blog bilingual ;)
Hello!! @blocklab 😁 Actually this is not the first post I do with the code you gave me, it's this one https://steemit.com/life/@mariacherries/5-thinks-i-m-thankful-for-5-cosas-por-las-que-estoy-agradecida I even thanked you for the code in the post, but it seems you didn't see it 🙁, please get https://steemwatch.com or use the eSteem app to get notified when somebody mentions you, a few days ago I started using both 😉
that's awesome. thx for the info. I will check steemwatch =)
And thank you for the code, the comment and the upvote :D
sure thing. no worries. you have some great photography skills 👍
What does entropy mean when you find meaning in old metal or architecture?
The word Entropy comes from Physics and it means:
a thermodynamic quantity representing the unavailability of a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work, often interpreted as the degree of disorder or randomness in the system.
The other meaning is:
lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder.
"a marketplace where entropy reigns supreme"
Synonyms: deterioration, degeneration, crumbling, decline, degradation, decomposition, breaking down, collapse...
Entropy in my photo series:
When you look at the photos you see a "system" that's is degrading, it's gradualy declining into disorder, into decay, it's decomposing. Now the degradation you see on my photos is somewhat predictable though.
I hope the answer satisfies you :)
Oh that's what it means! I thought it might be fuzzy about the entropy, but it was not correct but it was right! Thanks for the good writing :)
Thank's :D
Excelente post amiga! Realmente me encanto!
