The embodiment of elegance of glass and metal - 📸- Looking up
Passing by this cult place on Nevsky prospect, people involuntarily raise their heads up and take out their cameras.
It is impossible not to notice the magnificent architecture of this building and the unusual dome on the roof, which is a fine example of art Nouveau, built in the early XX century by architect Suzor.

There at the top, on the roof of the building, is the best observation deck of St. Petersburg which offers magnificent views of the city with all its many attractions. My immediate plans include a walk on this amazing roof ... I'll see you soon

I'd like to be there too. For a very long time it was unrealizable, but now there are excursions and walks on this roof. I hope that soon I can get pictures from there :)

WOW what cool design features so much to see I was looking so closely at it to appreciate all the detail
The American company commissioned the architect Suzor to build this unique building at the time. Previously, no one in Russia has used this technology to use metal frames and brickwork on cement. This is what made it possible to make these huge panoramic Windows around the facade, which so attract attention in our days. Another innovation - invisible drains, their architect just hid in the walls, and for the collection and melting of snow were used special devices.
