It's officially the wet season here complete with soggy farm animals and an excess of flying insects specifically. It's currently a bit humid and swampy whereas a few months ago this time of night was actually chilly and fairly bug free.

We made a joke that canicula, the term for the fourty days of death where it's so hot and humid no one wants to do anything, made it's appearance in the two days while we were in Mexico City but as time goes on it kind of seems like we might be right with that.

During bad weather here the clouds get crazy and for that I love this time of year. I could honestly do without the increase in bugs and temperature though.

During these rainy scenes though I will say the temperature is generally pretty nice.

Ah but as soon as the sun comes out the tired feeling sets in!
