I love roses when they are cut and in vases or from a distance but I hate gardening or working around them.
As for women being prickly that may well be from time to time but their overall beauty, inside and outside is well worth it! I love my rose (@lellabird60)!

I understand why you hate it, I do get pricks, too :D but I can't resist the smell ^ ^
