Delicate mushrooms on a rock - SteemitPhotoChallenge Entry
Halfway through a hike in Frontenac State Park we were reaching the shore of the lake and there was an old wooden stairway leading the last twenty or thirty feet. On the way down these stairs that wrapped around a rock with some roots growing out of it, nestled in the roots and moss there were these wonderful delicate red mushrooms growing. I had my macro lens on the camera and these guys were about three feet away from the stairs, so I had to hang over the railing and stretch my arms out to frame the shot. Giving the precarious pose I was in to get this shot I was surprised and delighted that I was able to get this shot without intolerable camera shake.

Thanks, I truly appreciate the complement of being considered a pro. :-D I would not suggest eating this or any other wild mushroom, it is very easy to eat the wrong kind.
