Picture Stories #258 - Violet Flowers
Flowers can be a refreshing sight, especially if they come in nice attractive colors. While the bright and vivid colored petals of the flowers can be instantly attention grabbing, it is good to sometimes encounter flowers in subdued hues of light, pleasing shades like the lovely violet colored flowers shown in the below pictures.
While the above flowers didn't dominate my eyes when I saw them for the first time, they had a very gentle, appealing quality that made them very likable.

You are absolutely right, no matter what colors the flowers are they can't leave anyone without emotions. I am wondering will it be cold in your place in winter?

These photos were taken in Singapore, I live in the south of India with a mostly tropical climate :)
You are lucky, I love hot summer days, but my husband told me in tropical climate when it is humid the heat feels more hotter and exhausting. But still it would be interesting to experience that once :)
Thanks - I love summers more than winters, so the climate is good for me :) I do love the occasional visit to cool hill stations and we have a lot nearby!

This is Rhododendron (the frequently found subspecies are called Azaleas). They come in variety of bright colors and they are gorgeous. Some gardens specialize in them and organize events while blooming season is in full swing.
