BW Color - Trails To Another Land #203
This new method I'm learning to control more elements of a photo I have taken, I changed out the sky because I wanted something more in depth and colorful. You can see islands and beautiful water with mountains in the background that didn't exist before. This was my first go at doing this method and I do plan on learning more to make it impossible to tell I'm using multi layers. For this I'm showing the level of details and amount of work that went into this art by using BW Color.
I plan on using this style a lot more, I really do like it and it will help with the other new style I like, the silhouette style. I will be taking this and turning it into a silhouette soon, I really do think it will look so cool! Imagine walking down the trails and see this as your first sight, or better yet having a house up on the hill that looks down like this! Just amazing!

I feels like I am pulled down to the trail - really narrow with all details to see - but still far away. And B&W is great for it... you are not confused with the colored sky at all - it looks like it is real and not a composition. And you want to go the trail because you go into the direction of light and blue. And it has a fantasy character because the trees are bend over to one side - somehow strange...

Thank you @peekbit, If you look closely you can also see the islands in the background with the water. It just goes on and on a beautiful Crystal blue water and sky fill with clouds! That trail leads up a steep hill to a road at the very top with houses that look down! It a really awesome view.

Hello @jonbit. I really like that at first I just don‘t noticed that the the picture is in fact a BW picture. I was attracted somehow into the trail and I looked for the detailness left and right of the trail and the trail itself. Because of the colored sky I don‘t realized that the mail element is not colored at all. Only because I read the text (after exploring the picture) and there was written BW color I was confused and had to loook to the picture agin to notice that it‘s in fact a BW/Color picture. That‘s really a nice composition and the perception is tricked.
Hey thank you @netinox, I saw this style awhile back with a red rose and black/white background and knew I wanted to do this style. Of course I do other styles and always testing and learning new ways of doing art but I really like the BW Color mix. This is more of an advanced style using a much more complex layer like a lot of trees and fine detail parts, I'm really happy it turned out so well and has me exited to do more. The real trick is taking the right photo and getting it as clear as you can so when you start to do your work it will blend more smooth. I still have a lot to learn and just enjoying doing it!
