From Moonlight to Sunlight (Original Photos in Sequence)
It has been unseasonably warm in eastern Nebraska this weekend. Changes are in the wind and clouds on the horizon.
Morning broke from a clear half-moon night to dawn another warm day (high in lower 70's (F)), but the wind is picking up and clouds are rolling in throughout the day.
Photographs taken the morning of 19 February 2017 in eastern Nebraska with my Canon EOS 7D in manual mode.

Half-Moon
I woke up more than an hour before sunrise to see the half-moon out my back window.

Beautiful, even with the Chemtraily. Namaste, Roland
Thank you!
And thank you for the re-steem!!! It is greatly appreciated!
Steem on,
Mike
Great moon shot and sunrise sequence! I hope your warm temperatures come to an end pretty soon. Plants will be heading into spring way too early otherwise, really risking a late frost on fruit blossoms, especially.
We all have the same concern. There will be a few more days in the 70's then back to normal temperatures (30's - 40's).
Steem on,
Mike
A slow spring can be frustrating, but the loss of fruit blossom is just sad. Here's to a slow and steady spring!
Although the pollen gets to me, I do enjoy seeing the blooms on my trees. I hope they do not bloom too early too.
Spring wouldn't be near so enjoyable with allergies. You have my sympathy. My dad really suffers, too, especially from elm trees. Here's to steady rain at just the right time to keep the pollen out of the air!
Nebraska is known for not being a good state for those with respiratory problems. The winds that sweep through the state unabated bring pollen and pollution from different parts of the continent. When the grass fires were burning in states south of here, there was smoke in the air. When the forest fires were burning in Canada, you could smell the burning cedar in the air. Pollen is the same way. My allergies kick in the worst during harvesting season.
The rains are nice for cleaning the air in the short-term. But too much rain brings other problems, mold spores.
I can certainly sympathize with anyone who has allergies.
Steem on,
Mike
Just extending the comment chain to say, I feel for you and your pollen problems! You really are in the middle of a lot of different air flows, there in Nebraska!
Wow!! Gorgeous photos I love them :)
Thank you!
This is the first time I have taken a complete set of photographs in manual mode with my digital camera.
Steem on,
Mike
Great photos!
Thank you!
Now that I am getting the hang of using the manual settings on my camera, I may never take landscape photographs in auto-mode again.
Steem on,
Mike
Oh cool- even includes the chemtrails : (
I'm old enough to remember skies without chemtrails. Boggles my mind that some people still pretend they aren't real- SMH
Living is a fly-over state you see a lot of them high in the sky.
Steem on,
Mike
I live in the DC area and they pummel us.
