Gardening Report
Today I'd like to show you where I"m at with my little balcony gardening project. This year I decided to grow flowers from seeds instead of buying them already grown. It's a very risky business as there's no guarantee, sometimes seeds don't grow and you end up having nothing. I had some bad experience a couple of years ago but still, I said I'd try it once again.
This is the lobelia, growing and growing. These are going to be planted in bigger pots at my dad's porch, I'm just growing them.
These are separated so they can root properly and be ready for being repotted. Lobelia is a delicate plant, I haven't thought it's so delicate. I was afraid they might not survive after planting them in these plastic cups but I was lucky or I did it right, or both, I don't know but they are well and growing. These days I'm going to add more soil to the cups so it can cover them and have more nutrition as well.
This is mine. As you can see these are not plated one by one, there are groups of flowers here. This year I decided not to buy flower pots from the shop and use plastic bottles instead. it's a way of recycling as in my city there's no recycling ant the moment. Yes, shame!!! I know. It's unacceptable but there's nothing I can do at the moment, except for using my water bottle for gardening.
This is Nigella, aka Miss Bad Hair Day 😁 I'm so curious to see what's going to be like. I've seen it on a photo but having it on my balcony is a totally different thing. Fingers crossed but so far so good, looking good at the moment. Turns out she's not fussy.
This is my mystery box or I can say it's a surprise box. These were mixed seeds for balcony they say. The package showed a lot of flowers but I don't know what I've got here. Need to wait till they bloom as I don't recognize any of them just by looking at the green leaves. I have some experience but I'm not that good.
This week I have to repot them as they have no space any more, grown out of the plastic tray I am using at the moment. They need more soil in order to grow.

It looks like you are doing really well with your seed starting!! And yes, if there is no recycling, reusing plastic is the next best option...
Thank you @sustainablelivin, I'm trying to do the right thing and looks like this year is a lucky one :)
