Finding The Best Place
Finding the right place for your indoor plants is among the most important things. Plants need light in offer to exist, light provides them energy.
I have this cyclamen for a few years now, maybe 10 or so. Some people say it's a very long time for a cyclamen, my experience says otherwise.
According to Wikipedia there are 23 species ranging from frost-hardy to frost-tender.
Don't ask me what type mine is because I can't tell you, have no idea but it's resistant for sure. I'm keeping her near the window but not to close because it's my experience that doesn't like direct light.
Due to some changes, I had to move the flower from her usual place to the inside window ledge and kept her there for one week. It looks like she loved it.
I haven't seen this plant to have this much flowers for a long time, which confirms that she likes my inside window ledge more than her usual place.
I'm going to leave it there for a while but can't leave it there during summer because the she gets burned. The question is, when to move her? I have to monitor her constantly. The window glass can act as a magnifier and burn the flower in case the weather is too hot outside. Summer temperature can reach 39C sometimes.
I know, caring for plants, flowers is not easy, but it totally worth it, believe me.
