Busy catching his dinner
The place I am at, is the Pamplemousses botanical garden in Mauritius. It's one of the most visited attractions on the island. The main thing to come for are the plants. Especially the 85 different varieties of palm trees brought from different places around the world. But there are some animals here as well, like the giant tortoises There aren't all that many places in the world where you will still see these. But there are quite many here.
I did see the tortoises. But it was the bird that made me stop. He was doing his best trying to catch dinner. I have no idea of what kind of bird it's. I stayed for quite a long time just looking at his movements. He didn't seem to mind me at all.
