DEK Photography: Alexander Pushkin
A lovely sculpture of the great Russian writer Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin (plus pigeon ointment for softer hair). The statue is almost life sized (supposedly just a couple centimeters shorter than 167cm, the actual height of Pushkin).
Taken @ 105mm, f/2.8, 1/1250s, ISO 110. You can click for a bigger image!
Look at that shutter speed - I guess I was afraid the statue might slip away while I was taking its shot! Check out some of his poems here.

good Pushkin is the symbol of Russian culture ☺
They really should stop shitting on his head, he doesn't deserve that.
It's like a downvote - pigeons can't read.
