Snakes on a Plain!
These are photos from Narcisse Manitoba, Canada where an amazing annual thaw and mating session for tens of thousands of snakes takes place.
When the warm Spring sun warms the ground enough to thaw, the snakes come out of their Winter hibernation, and begin to search for a mate.
When the tens of thousands of smaller males finally find a larger female, they form a mating ball, and struggle to be the one to fertilize the eggs.
It is quite a sight to behold!
Enjoy!
Anyway, thanks for listening. Check out my other posts!
