Shanti The Wheezing Pug - #DogsOfSteemit #DailyPetPhotograpy
Family has arrived and along with them comes Jerry’s Port Alberni dog pack ❤️
This is Shanti, she is an old girl with many health issues but she is doing much better than last time I saw her. Her teeth were causing her issues and she had lost much weight which has now returned. She is getting around better but has issues with stairs nothing out of the ordinary when smaller dogs age.
She does have the concerning breathing issue most pugs have but she has always been that way and it’s not of concern.
It’s good to see Shanti is back to begging for food and cleaning plates while being a sucker for love for awhile there while the vets checked her out she was not enjoying her life.
Jerry and Shanti get along well enough though he is confused by her wheezing often thinking it’s a growl he has never attacked her. Shanti is so unaware of what Jerry’s issue is she don’t even notice any growling is directed at her thus she goes looking for what he is growling at 😅 kinda funny to watch.
Shanti is just one of those dogs that make photography easy, the others don’t stop for a second.
