Hello fellow steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Antarctica. I am also adding world's oceans to the challenge as I am guessing it would be fairly hard to get many entries for Antarctica only.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday as well as Australian Monday and give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday – winner announcement!

@bypaul entry post for Asian Sunday is below:

This summer I traveled through southeast Asia for 7 weeks. Three of these weeks I was traveling Myanmar with my sister (to be seen in pic). To get to our next destination we had to take a boat with the locals and drive a whole day over Inle Lake. Eventhough it looks like a river we are actually racing over a huge lake covered by plants with only this small path open for the boats. The clouds you see in the back of the picture got us soaked about an hour later.

To me Antarctica means a lot of ice and snow. While travelling to Patagonia (Argentinian Antarctica) we had a chance to walk on a glacier which was a lot of fun.

Is that frozen water under you or a hollow?

This was one of the strangiest feelings. We are used to lakes/rivers covered with ice, and when it melts it's dangerous to step there if we see some water. But here it is solid huge peice of ice, and when it melts (not deeply), you can safely step there. But these on the picture are cracks in ice, and filled with melted water.

Wow! They look very nicely!

Wow, stunning and very adventurous! Thank you so much for sharing! I will be announcing the winner very soon. Tomas

Thank you, Tomas ))

A local man fishing in the ocean in Sri Lanka. I tried to time it to shoot through the waves, unfortunately that didn't stop my camera from getting wet!

Sunrise sheds light on the monster waves off the end of Long Reef on Monday morning, 6th of June, 2016.

I wish there were people surfing it to show scale but the face would be atleast 20ft and i think i'm being pretty conservative with that figure.

this is one really big wave. is this Antarctica? didn't know that such waves are breaking there. awesome!

No this is in Australia. Would love to get to Antarctica one day though! The things i could do with my camera down there..... dreams.

Thank you for sharing your fantastic image with everyone! Awesome!

Magnificent view of the rocks rising from the Southern Ocean at 12 Apostles over a cast sky. On a work trip to Melbourne, I decided to take off to the Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles for the weekend - the view and the breeze were incredible. Totally worth the trip - it makes you believe that travel is to be cherished.

I love it! What a great picture!

Driving up Highway 101 from LA to SF was a wonderful experience. We stopped several times to take photos and fly the drone. Seeing the landscape and coast which was partly created by the power of the Pacific Ocean is just stunning. This shot was taken between Morro and Monterrey.

Hi! This is a great pic but I think you misread the title. The theme is Antarctica and world's oceans. Tomas

Doesn't that mean islands in oceans?....So is it possible to present just ocean coasts? Then I really understood it wrongly...Sorry...
