My Third Event As A Photographer! Classy Vowel Renewal Ceremony ~

It’s been awhile since I last posted about my photography adventures. You can catch the first one I did 10 months ago here and the second one from 9 months ago here. My cousin is an event planner. When she first got started I offered to take shots of her events for her portfolio. After I did the first event she hired me on as her permanent photographer. Her business is starting to pick up and I am excited to share more of my photography work with you.

I love shooting her events because they are always elegant and classy no matter the occasion. She really makes my job easy because she decorates so beautifully which allows for gorgeous photos. I use our Cannon EOS Rebel T6 which is an entry level camera. It was purchased as a kit that included several different lenses and tools. I am clueless about what to do with most of the tools. I mainly use the 55-250mm lens to take most of the shots. I would love to play around with macro images and using the widening lens to fit more decor into a photo at a time.

Another aspect I want to improve on is my angling. Although I feel I get pretty decent shots I want to think more outside of the box. I want to capture images with crazy angles that are rarely seen. Like @tattoodjay, he captures eye catching angles of buildings and outside scenery. He puts you in his shoes and makes you feel like you are standing right there. That’s the feeling I want people to get when they look at my photos. I want you to feel the mood, hear the music, taste the food (okay maybe that’s too far and impossible lol) and feel that you are right there at the event.

I will be sharing my last event that I did a couple of weeks ago with you soon. I have another one scheduled at the end of this month as well. Several people have asked if I do weddings or photograph for other people. I have declined those offers as I am not comfortable with doing weddings or working with others besides my cousin right now. It’s like we are growing together...as she gets more business and more decor ideas I am getting more practice and picture ideas.

To be honest I will probably never do weddings because that’s a lot of pressure to get someone’s special day just right. My husband shot my other cousin’s outside wedding and I did most of the editing. That was our first and last wedding venture lol. Although she was pleased it was a lot of work and nerve wrecking to get everything just right.

Anyhoo please tell me what you think of the shots and I am sure open to any suggestions you may have so that I can improve.

Thanks for stopping in loves ~ ❤️

All photos are my own and were taken with our Cannon EOS Rebel T6.

Thanks for the kind words but I feel you do have th eye to find the right angles to get great shots

I have shot a couple of weddings for family, but it is also somehting i would not do professionally, the pressure to get every shot and really do justice to their special day is just not somehting for me

Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from you!

Ohh yeah that schedule would get to me, but then again one good friend is very good at it and making good money but better him than me

Great job crosheille! It's always amazing to see how much you have energy. You motivate me to be active. I can't excuse saying "ya, I have a small daughter so ..." ;)

Thanks so much @akipponn! I sure am trying. It’s a lot more challenging now with five kiddos but I try to still fit what I can in. I’m so used to being busy and active and I’m trying to keep my energy up for my kids. Doing these activities helps for sure ;)

Your third job worked out VERY VERY well dear

Thank you my dear~ 😃😘
