Athens through the Broke Traveller's lens - Ep 6
Have a peek through my lens at this wonderful city. I have decided to put up a selection of images which are from my first trip to Athens, a few months ago. All of them were taken with my Nikon D700.
After all this I flew to Bucharest to be greeted by this sight:

No worries, I am glad you liked it! Athens is a great place. I am sure a few things changed since 97 but the main attractions looked probably the same, I guess. :)

Cheers buddy! Good to know you like them. You should pay Athens a visit when you can. It is an interesting place. They say it is kinda like Berlin in the 90s...poor but sexy.

A childhood dream of mine ~ Since I first read and was enraptured with early Greek myths and saw stylised images on Greek pottery ~ Was to go to Greece. Many friends have visited and have loved being there. For me, it's still on my wish list. Wonderful to see this amazing city through your lens now @creutzy Resteemed. 🙏

Cheers! I want to do a trip for like 3 months at some point in the next year or 2, depending on my income, to go backpacking and climbing around SE Asia and Thailand and Vietnam are top of the list...

It really is such a nice place. I just want to get out to some of the smaller islands and maybe do some deep water solo climbing (DWS) when you climb on cliffs over the sea...
