Borran's Nature Photography: Birds of the Animal Kingdom
Birds are always fun to photograph, but it can also be quite tricky because they are rarely still.
The Eurasian pygmy owl as you can see in the first picture, visited us in our garden. It is quite rare to get to see this bird, so we were very lucky. It sat on a branch for a long time, so I managed to get pretty good pictures of it.
Eurasian pygmy owl, Glaucidium passerinum.
Mute swan, Cygnus olor.
Great spotted woodpeckers, Dendrocopos major.
Some sort of eagle.
Black woodpecker, Dryocopus martius.
