I want to submit a picture of a big red dragonfly, which I did last summer, to the contest.
We fly a lot of these dragonflies. But they are not very easy to photograph. Because they are always watching you with their huge eyes and at the slightest suspicion of danger they immediately fly away.
It takes a very slow creep to them to take such a picture on a normal lens without a strong increase.
Nikon D5000 + Sigma AF 17-50
I strongly recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.
