Streets of Budapest - Travel Photography

These photos I've taken on a family holiday in Hungary during our stay with friends in the small village Szupatak. As this was just an hour drive from Budapest the Hungarian capital.

I decided to pick up my old DSLR (Nikon D700 with a 24mm lens) and off I went!

St. Stephen's Basilica, just spectacular!

I have truly been impressed by Budapest architecture. In my opinion it is one of the great cities in Europe for those who can appreciate this stuff.

If you like this post, I would appreciate if you could share with others who might enjoy it.

Makes me want to visit Budapest. Very nice photos of some beautiful architecture.

Thank you sir, if you have an opportunity I can wholeheartedly recommend it! Don’t forget your camera :)

Amazing pics!

Glad you like them, do you photograph yourself?

Up to now I posted some of my pics here on Steemit. Far from professional, I know, but hope you'll like it ;)

I certainly like the pictures, most the photo with all the orange roofs! But the square photo also would have been better if you photographed up so you could see more architecture and fewer tourists. Keep photographing I will follow you to see more of your work!

Thanks for the tips!
I'm planning to visit Dubrovnik in July this year. I'll make the picture from the same spot, by your tips. You'll judge about my improvements ;)

Looking forward to it! When you post, feel free to send me a message!

I am thoroughly inspired by the way you see / capture images. Thank you for sharing. I was just saying yesterday that I would love to go to Budapest and you have reinforced that for me greatly! Keep up the excellent work. Upvoted, Resteemed and the newest member of your fan club!

Thanks so much samanthajbarnes! I am glad to hear my photography helped you decide, love to see your photos if you go over there! See you around.

That good old D700 is still respectable machine and you use it so well @apprenticeoflife. Upvoted, resteemed & DPS.

It is still one solid block of a camera, has never let me down! Appreciate it photo-trail!

Amazing... Lovely shots! :0
Followed you!

Nice to meet you carry0n. I see you are a writer, sometimes I could use a good written story to go with my photography! Guess you can't have it all! :)

Oh thank you! Likewise :D
Start writing and you may be pleasantly surprised, you never know what may pop out when you sit and brainstorm with yourself ;)

I shall try, hope to see you as a regular visitor. Maybe you may see some progress! :)

Surely you will! I hope so too :)

Wild @apprenticeoflife! I might have to add Budapest to my list of cities to visit!

Its a great place kommienezuspadt, I'm sure you will enjoy it!

every single image is beautifully captured. I am also obsessed with streets, ways, roads and doors. My mum is best critic and she hates my obsession :P
but I am fascinated after seeing your work.

I understand your obsession! :-)
My wife always hates going on a city trip with me if I take my camera with me. I just tend to walk at my own pace and take too long for her liking!

Really nice city ! ))

It is one of the less desirable destinations in Europe, but absolutely worth it!

I guess Conde Nast Travel doesn't know what they're talking about.

Or Why Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lawrence, and More Are Spending Time in Budapest

What makes it "less desirable"?

Hi theblindsquirl. It is more of personal experience, the people I interact with on a daily base don't seem enthusiastic about it. As I myself have stated I find it a great city.
Thanks for dropping by!

Sorry if I misinterpreted what you said.

I find it an underappreciated city.

Then again, The West has always treated Central & Eastern Europe like "backwards" cousins.

No worries mate! I agree.

Majestic beautiful place thanks for sharing 🕊

Glad you enjoyed the post! Thank you.
