It's so truly uplifting and magical in my daily travels. It so hard to capture the beauty and feeling in words.
In the second photo there was a nearby oak tree. While I was taking the picture a few acorns dropped down from it. If you get hit by one it can hurt/sting a little bit...😉😄🤗...!
When I'm home at my cabin I hear the acorns all the time day and night dropping down on the roof and rolling off.. It's an awesome seasonal sound. I enjoy so much.

@annephilbrick How can your eyes handle all this beauty? lol The road is about the size roads we had here when I was a kid. there are only two of them left here, the rest have been widened to as much as four lanes.

There are many...many dirt roads where I live.....!!!!! Including the long narrow road I live on. I dont live near any four lanes roads at all. I do travel some paved roads but no major highways.

@annephilbrick I wish I did not have to go on highways, the road to my house is not paved but all other roads are. My area has tripled in population in the last five years. Now a big company bought a bunch of land south of town and they are going to build 8,000 new houses. I am lucky because there are woods all the way around me.
