Quest For Snow - Part IV - Mt. Hermon
We drove 3 hours, We Waited for another 3+ for the site to open, watching a beautiful sunrise over the golan heights. Luckily after long wait they let us in (there was a slim chance the site won't open for w/e reasons).
The Hermon Ski Resort
There's this rollercoaster like contraption where kids are on a sled and they control the breaks. Throughout our visit we kept hearing calls by staff member telling the kids to slow down or clear the tracks. We wondered if you can cause yourself serious injury on that thing
This is the ski lift. We discussed whether or not we should take the lift to see the upper part of the mountain, but though we wanted, we decided that with our current gear it would be best if we stay where we are
So we walked to the are where the snow coaster was
Saw this kid chilling, laying on the hard snow. As you can see, the snow wasn't fresh and fluffy, it was crusty. So no snow angles and all of that, but it was still a lot of fun.
Apparently there is a lake on top of Mount Hermon, and it was frozen. Also it was surrounded with a fence so we couldn't just step on it and fall to a freezing death.
Young couple starting to work on a snowman.
The Golden Lab on the left is "Don" and he was the star of the resort, future post will have lots of his pics + Video.
What appears to be sisters posing in front of the snowman they built
The couple from few photos up, finished the "torso" of the snowman, starting to work on the face fine details.
Don and his owners walking back to the entrance area.
Father and son having fun posing with their new snowy friend they just built.
A glimpse up, where the clouds are obstructing our view of the mountain peak.
Bonus: me hitting it on the snow
After almost 2 hours frolicking in the snow we decided that we had enough, and we should head back toward civilization and find something hot to drink, that will be the subject of the next post in the series.
Wow amazing post, I liked.

Holy cow that is so cool how there is a lake on top of the mountain. You would've never been able to guess...
So much snow. Nice but it must be freezing there.
