My Chinese year is dog, and my daughter is dragon, and @gonzo is snake and when the dog and dragon disagree, the snake always sides with the dragon! Hmmm, I guess a dragon is just a great big snake with wings...Oh well, I'm the cutest!
The dragon is opposite the dog which is why they don't get along.
What about the snake?
The snake's opposite is pig so won't get along with a person born in the year of pig.
The dragon is more friend with the rooster.
The snake is more friend with the monkey.
The dog is more friend with the rabbit

But, actually, most of the time the dragon and dog get on fine!

Haha.... people say wear red underwear for gambling like go to casino. not just for dog though.
You have to make up for siding with the dragon by buying the dog red underwear!
Do postmen want to get pictures with the lucky dogs too, or do they get flashbacks and run away?
I don't think many postman in my country has problem with dogs.
There are not many individual house type of mailboxes.
We have a lot more apartments type and the mailboxes tend to be concentrated at a location where the postman come and then feed the mail into the boxes.
Hope you came out with a big fat wallet. :)
Not very fat but at least got back the $200 levy and still have money left after the dinner.
Lucky dogs? Wow...it's amazing how some creatures are ascribed cultural... Superstitious beliefs...

I don't think many people eat them nowadays. :-)
I used to raise meal worms to feed to my sugar gliders and in the back of my mind, I knew that if food ever became scarce I would end up eating these worms too. So eating a dog would be a given, but I know I would feel really bad if I had to kill it.
