Caught a moment my favorite cat at local shrine freezes and turned back. It must have heard something I didn’t. I did a search on cats hearing and found this from wikipedia:
Humans and cats have a similar range of hearing on the low end of the scale, but cats can hear much higher-pitched sounds, up to 64 kHz, which is 1.6 octaves above the range of a human, and even 1 octave above the range of a dog.

拍到个我最喜欢的猫冻结突然转身的样子。它一定听到我没听见的东西。 我做了一个搜索，从维基百科发现原来人和猫在低音阶段的听觉范围相似，但是猫可以听到更高音的声音，高达64kHz，比人高出1.6个八度，甚至高于狗。在这里我提交 #daillypetphotography。

There a times I don't see it but I still have photos of previous times which still not posted but have to dig to find it. I cannot think of a name but definitely not steemitcat because the name is taken.

I see, it's interesting..... no wonder that is why cats are good in detecting predators. But, could that be the reason why they hardly fall in danger?

Ah! I love the cat photo! I always try an take photos of stray cats I come across....a few of which were in temples as well!
