Today is day when Singapore Pools draws the numbers to the TOTO lottery for estimated prize pool of SG$9M. Have you bought your tickets?

Ordinarily, the TOTO draws are on Mondays and Thursday. Sometimes, they do a special draw with more money prize which usually shift the draw date to Friday. If there is cheese, the mice will come, right? It was to be $5M prize on the 5th of January. More people betting increase the prize pool. It's now estimated to be $9M. So, there are more stupid people.
Not too long ago, @trafalgar asked if lottery a tax on stupid people. Sometimes, because of one thing or another my lady will asked, "Am I stupid". She spends more time on facebook than me. I will replied, "I don't know I spend more time on steemit than facebook." :-)
I know odds of winning the big prize are very low but to people who game, the odds are 50-50: either you win or you lose.

My thoughts on lottery is: Playing lottery is an investment. A very high risk investment with very high possibility of losing all you investment and a very small possibility of getting very high returns. It's like buying a dream. Is this any different from what you guys do when you buy into ICOs? Now, my turn to asked.

通常，多多开奖是星期一和星期四。有时候，他们会把奖金提高也通常改成星期五开奖。好处多了，来玩的人也多了。本来1月5日开奖是500万元的奖金。更多的人投注增加总奖金。现在估计是900万元。所以，是不是多了愚蠢的人。
不久之前，@trafalgar 有一帖里问道博彩是否对愚蠢的人征税。有时，因为某某事情，我的夫人会问：“我愚蠢吗？” 她花在facebook上的时间比我多。我会回答说：“我不知道我花在Steemit的时间在比Facebook更多。” :-)
我知道赢得大奖的几率很低，但是对于完博彩的人来说，几率是50-50因为不是赢就是输嘛。

我对玩博彩的想法是：玩博彩是一种投资。是种非常高风险的投资。高风险到很有可能失去你所有的投资，而很低的机会让你获得到非常高的回报。就像买一个梦一样。这与你们买入ICO所做的有什么不同？现在轮到我问。

我觉得玩博彩就是玩，如果当成投资的话，太心跳了，博彩的博和赌博的博是同一个“博”字吧。

I play the Lotto 47. It has a big jackpot but mot huge like the powerball. I would be happy with a million or so. I play one dollar a week so thats about $50 a year. Sometimes I win small amounts, like $5, but usually I see.
About $1 a week is not too bad for a price of a dream. We aren't allow to take pictures at the outlet where we place the bets. I attended a live draw once. They are even more strict there
Yes I found that I get the same thrill playing only a dollar as I did playing and losing more. This way it is manageable and enjoyable.
