수줍음을 타는 소녀...
노란 코스모스 꽃이 하나가 눈에 띄어 찍어 보았습니다.
어렸을때 보았던 분홍, 빨간색만 생각하다가 노란색을 보니 신기하더군요.
Today, I found yellow cosmos near my office. ...^^
코스모스는 신이 세상을 아름답게 하기위해 제일 먼저 만들었다는 꽃입니다.
꽃말은 소녀의 순정이네요.
원산지는 멕시코이고, 우리나라에는 해방이후에 도입된 것으로 추정된다고 합니다.
빨간색 분홍색을 띄는 일반 코스모스와는 구분하여
노란색은 노란코스모스라고 부르는데 아예 종자체가 다르다고 하네요.
생각난 김에 인터넷에서 코스모스 사진을 찾아봤습니다. (from naver)
어렸을 적에 친구들과 학교 다니면서 걷던 신작로 길이 생각 나네요...

@abdullar oh I love cosmos and I envy you for walking through that path in Korea. They do have plenty of cosmos parks in SK these days I keep seeing it in my kakao story. We had those yellow cosmos - they're tropical I suppose cause I got the pink and dark pink and reddish here but never have seen the yellow ones around here :)
