Kissed by the Sun
A sun drenched Marlborough Sounds from the air. South Island, New Zealand. Marlborough is New Zealand’s largest wine growing region. It has an enviable international reputation for producing the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world. It also makes very good Chardonnay, Riesling and high quality Pinot Noir. There are over twenty thousand hectares of grapes the region that account for approximately 2/3 of New Zealand’s wine plantings.

Thanks. Somehow I like the 2nd shot even though its technically much worse than the 1st.
The two photos concentrate on the essential. Due to the contrasts of the mountain range and the fantastic sunlight, I can very well feel how it feels to look over the peaks from up there. I would have loved to be there!
do you mean, they concentrate on different essential aspects?..
2nd one gives me associations of the mountains melting like glaciers and sinking. its more 'direct'. the 1st one I love most - which has 'less sense' but just 'senseless beauty of the moment' in it.
My personal impression is always decisive for me. This does not mean that one picture is worse than the other. The softer contrasts and the more beautiful colors have a greater effect on me. If one brings both together with the fog around the mountain ranges, there is more harmony for my view.
