Architectural photography [ National Gallery building ]
If you happen to read my previous post, I attended the Light to Night Festival. On that event, there were lots of fun activities and unique stalls that was setup temporarily on that night. I can see that everyone are enjoying and I did too. I took a lot of photos that I can't even fit into one post alone. So, this will be a follow-up of the previous one and this time I will be focusing on my #architecturalphotography! This is my entry to @juliank's photo contest, enjoy viewing :-)
Entry #01 - Front facade of the National Gallery building
While everyone is busy enjoying, I was out scouting the area for my Architectural photography. As much as I want to join into the fun, I needed to catch the “blue hour” light and shoot the National Gallery building. It was my plan all along and the weather worked well with me. After all of the raining on the previous weekends, the sky became clearer and it gave me an awesome lighting for my photography.
Entry #02 - Left corner view of the National Gallery building
I'm very thankful that I finally had this chance to catch the blue hour on that night. It's been very rare to experience it on these past weeks due to bad weather. And I'm sure the organizers were relieve that the event was a success and the event goers seemed to have enjoyed the night.
Nice one bro, I think u can add ur series to #archisteem too. It relates to existing projects :) singapore does have great preserved buildings.
I was thinking of that too, also i wan to add informative write-up into it. Hehe. Yes i will be compiling existing bldgs in sg for #archisteem :-) i already have idea for my first archisteem post, something wacky/fun about the "starchitects" - frank gehry, jorn utzon...etc :D thought of it last night.
Thanks bro!
No problem bro! The more contribution, the merrier. That ambiance will be one attraction point for people to join the fun :) I will be posting soon too this weekend, but I will be commenting and seek for potential contributors. I look forward for your first post.
P/S: no need to be so formally categorized under #archisteem as it was intended to be as inclusive as possible.
I love how the lights start to pop when approaching blue hour. Great work!
Yes i like it as well, the contrast of warm-cool light. Thanks a lot for dropping-by @alevaskye :-)
Beautiful!
Thanks! :-)
Wow its so beautiful!
Nice photography!
Thanks @rejean ;-) have a nice day!
Wow ... very nice 👍🏻
Thanks! :-)
I like the front facing photo, very unique looking building. I wonder what this building would look like in a drone shot!
I always wanted to have a drone, hope to get it soon! But I don't think I can take a drone shot of this building, they don't allow it here in SG. Thanks @sasisthemotive.
I really like the lighting with these photos.
I built a drone a while back it worked well until I crashed it... I had it maybe a year before that first crash, now every time I fly it I think it seems like it cost me money. That crash alone cost me about $200 just to get it back to the way it was before. Hasn't been the same since. It was my fault for the crash I was being a jackass trying to get action shots of it. I was flying it with one hand and using my dslr with the other. Some how I didn't see the tree while I was looking through the camera.
This is awesome my friend! You build from scratch, kudos! You got some serious technical skills on that one. Im looking into the phantom drone - quite pricey. By the way, does it only cost you $200 to build, how much is it in total?
Oh man yes you have to get one! I have the DJI Mavic Pro and I love it! No problem, keep up the good work!
