I bought my first drone around this time last year and my first trip with it was to the Alabama Hills in Lone Pine California. I was brand new to flying drones so I did not go very high or very far away. These shots are a good reminder for me that I don’t have to fly really high to get a good shot. The Alabama Hills are an ideal place to go camping, fly drones, and shoot landscape photos. It’s a majestic desert filled with huge boulders and has the tallest part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range for a backdrop.
