Photocircle Daily featured authors #05
Hello Steemit Friends!
Today is the 5th edition of Photocircle's featured authors, and I'm pleased to share the outstanding works from our dear Steemians. It's gonna an exciting journey for all of us. I bet you will enjoying viewing a horse race event along the shore, a once in a lifetime experience diving under a frozen lake, get funky at a colorful festival, and unwind just by viewing the windmill of the Netherlands.
The good thing about the #photocircle project is that I'm discovering new places that are seen through the pictures of the talented authors of this community. There are times that my search for contents that will be featured, also leads me into learning from the insight of the authors. Either through my reading of their story or by exchanging a meaningful chat with the authors.
I guess the Steemit culture has to be that way, take time to understand about the content and participate in a positive meaningful discussion. After all, the one thing that counts is the knowledge that I acquire and not the reward that I gain.
To begin, let me invite everyone to welcome the featured authors for today!
A horse racing event along the beach? Oh, that's awesome! @rachmaddarmawan did a great job in capturing the thrill of the racing event in his photos. The event happened at the beach of Aceh Besar Lampuk, a beautiful seascape view. In the pictures presented by @rachmaddarmawan, we can see how challenging it is to compete with the other racers which battling the splash of the waves.
I bet its a lot fun to watch this event up close and personal!
How do you like the idea of going on a holiday with your friends, spend a day at the beach, enjoy the warmth of the sun, have a sip of an ice-cold vodka, and be pleasured with a very spacious hangout area. Sounds like a great idea?
That is how @narchuk describe his holiday experience the Baikal lake in Russia, well except that the you need a wet suit that will warm since you will be immersed under a 1 meter of ice and dive into an ice-cold water that is 20 degress below zero.

One of the most anticipated event in the world of festivity is the Holi Colour festival, which I personally like to be in and experience the fun. When I glance through @jayclar30's blog about her daughter having fun at this event, it immediately captured my interest to feature her work and show to all of you.
Although I haven't attend a festivity of this kind, I look forward to be doing it someday, inspired by the words of @jayclar30, "it's a colourific time spent at the Holi festival"!

This morning, as I was browsing through the photo submissions for the #photocircle tag, upon seeing @jarosalawszafran's photo of the Netherlands' windmill, it brought back cheerful memories from my childhood, it's not that I've been to this windmills in person, but I recall the movies and cartoons that I've watched during my childhood.
A perfectly composed picture of a beautiful scenery.

At the end of the month, I am going to Holland again for a few days :)
I intend to visit a village with 19 windmills.

That is no worries at all : ) I did set the account up so it was neutral so both my husband and I could use the account... but only I have used it! Actually, truth be known... my husband would struggle to get me away to have a turn, lol.

I just glance through on your mypictureday version, oh my!! Its a lot fun for sure :-) i want to attend on it someday. I will be returning to your blog shortly and complete my reading. As of now, im currently working on mypictureday submission. Lol. Be right back after this :-)
There are events held all around the world, so check out if there's a group in your community that hosts an event!! Totally worth it. I can tell you the colour does come out of your clothes and off of your shin... however, I can recommend charcoal soap to get it all off your skin. Some colours don't come off the skin as well as others... but charcoal soap brought it straight off! : )
I hope I can find it here in Singapore. Is there a specific month for it?
That's good to know, I've been meaning to ask on how to remove the colors afterwards. You already answered it, hehe. I'll keep that in mind.

Holi 2019 will begin in the evening of Wednesday, 20 March and ends in the evening of Thursday, 21 March. Dates may vary though to run over a weekend.
I'm not sure about My Picture Day... I could have done that with my bees... nevermind. I'll have to see what tomorrow brings! : )
So it's around March, just nice. I will check the date here in Singapore. Thanks for the info.
