Tower at Night
Here is a night photo from cold day in Istanbul. I took this photo today It was about 1 degree.
It is great angle to take Tower's photo. Its name is Galata Tower.
The building, which was built in 528, is one of the important symbols of the city. The Bosphorus and the Golden Horn can be viewed from the tower in a panoramic view.
Hezarfen Ahmet Celebi, an inhabitant of Istanbul in the 17th century Ottoman Empire is credited with the first appropriate flight with artificial wings in the history of aviation.
Very colorfull building and big story behind it @chorock. Who names with Galata Tower or what means with Galata @chorock ??
