Houseleek or Stone Rose
Hello, friends!
I am here again to submit another photo edit for daily #photochallenge hosted by @gapeboy. From Wednesday to Monday those who decided to participate should submit their photographs of plants and animals. You can find more rules in this post.
This plant is Sempervivum, but know to English-speaking as Houseleek, and for Ukrainian-speaking as Stone Rose or Bunny Cabbage. It is widely spread in Ukraine. I captured this green and red beauty at the canyon of Southern Bug river. It grew up on the slope looking towards the evening sun.
And, as I may submit 2 entries, another one is a capture of yellow flowers that also grow everywhere there. I don't know its name, but love so much their burning color! Every time I see it I can't resist taking more photos of them.
Just in case you wonder, I used Pentax K-5 and Pentax DA 55-200 tele lens for both shots.

Sometime I feel like April is a month of yellow flowers ) Such a wide diversity of them everywhere!
Although, they say that yellow color is difficult to capture and get a good result for photo optic.

I feel yellow flowers are so cheerful, and will always brighten up any day! My sis always seek out yellow flowers, and had a pot of yellow hibiscus, with deep red/pink centres...

They kinda stopped blooming now, not sure what's up... they normally bloom with multiple buds... :)
Beautiful plants! I really love succulents and that stone rose is a beauty!
They are amazing, I love them probably most of all succulents. By the way, my husband learned this word (succulent) on that trip )) There is always a chance to learn something new )

I am visiting my daughter and mom, and it is a great weekend, especially because tomorrow we have Mother's Day.
We went to the countryside today to help in the garden, and I am so tired today. But very happy to be with all of them together :)

Us, well Mrs. J has to work the weekend, she works every night until Wednesday so not much is going on here. Besides, it's raining too so I'll mostly work on Steemit.
