Psychological topology
Psychological topology is a branch of the science of cognition, which deals with laws constraints imposed on the human understanding space. Any intelligible metaphysical object (love, virtue, faith, compassion, humanism, etc.) has a definite form, a group of points of space organized according to special laws.
The task of psychological topology is to establish what form the human understanding space must take, so that this metaphysical object can fit to produce internal changes in a person. The founder of this philosophical trend is Marcel Proust, although people usually talk about his psychological novel "In search of lost time" admiring the beauty of his language.
Which is absolutely true. But not enough. Proust's novel is a kind of organ that produces an understanding of the inner world of man and his changes. Virtually everything that Marcel writes is also the topology of the human interior space, he paints a huge number of limitations on a person's ability to discover the world of creativity and shows by his example how to overcome all the difficulties that stand in the way.
Proust, from childhood, studied two things - literature and was ill, having absorbed the sensation of language, he became an excellent writer, his poetic writing style complicates the task of understanding written. Constant seizures of asthma, being on the verge of life and death were reflected in extreme exaltation and acuity of experience.
This explosive mixture led Marcel to new discoveries, amazing perusal of human life. By the end of 1911, Marcel had finished the first version of the novel, he then consisted of three parts: "Lost Time", "Under the Shadow of the Girls in Bloom" and "Time Gained." No worse than the Master from Bulgakov wandered through the publishers completely unsuccessfully, the editors looked at the text, ruining all the ideas about the novel, like complete idiocy.
Desperate, Proust began distributing copies to the old aristocrats, art lovers. Immediately followed the recommendation to publish the novel and in November 1913 the novel "Towards a Swan" came out. The publisher was Bernard Grasse. He issued a book (at the expense of the author), but demanded to reduce the manuscript.
The outbreak of war, the departure of Grasse to the front and the closure of the publishing house (although the second volume was already being written) forced Proust to continue his work. The three parts turned into five - "Towards Swan", "Under the shadow of the girls in bloom," "The Germantowns", "Sodom and Gomorrah" (which broke up on the actual "Sodom and Gomorrah", in two parts, "The Captive" and "Runaway") and "Time Found".
In 1919-1927 the publishing house "Gallimar" released all the other volumes. The audience at first took the novel rather coldly, but after clarification and the comment of more sophisticated lovers of literature, Hip happened and Marcel received the Goncourt Literary Prize. Since then, his best-selling book has been published in many languages, compulsory for reading in colleges, analyzed in universities, but in Russia is known to a rather narrow circle of readers, mainly Proust's questionnaire on television is used. Very curious is the reading of the novel by Soviet idiots.
One wrote that this work is full of whining and worthlessness, shows the decline and crisis of European culture. Another fool wrote that all this was a petty-bourgeois melancholy not peculiar to a Soviet man. For me, the novel is full of the author's self-irony, it must be able to read and how to turn out, there are plenty of places for laughter and fun.
This is a continuous adventure in unknown worlds, opening up new horizons. The next epoch of the emergence of psychological topology was the work of the outstanding Soviet philosopher Merab Konstantinovich Mamardashvili. Unfortunately, he does not have a separate written work on this topic, but there are two collections of lectures that repeat each other - "Psychological topology" and "Lectures on Proust". It is the latter that I like most, and I use it in my work.
M.K.Mamardashvili hampered the authorities in disseminating ideas and teaching, despite this, his students remained. Let's hope that someone will set forth the theory entirely in a separate work. In fact, psychological topology uses the methodology of non-trivial topology.
An example of a simple topology: Two people Marcel Proust and the Marquis de Saint-Loup look at one girl named Rachelle. Sen Lu, being in the theater, was overwhelmed by the perception of the feeling of beauty, it burst out and flung Rachelle from head to foot, in it all his lofty feelings were imprinted. She became a goddess for him, spread out across all points of the space of his inner life.
And Marcel saw Rachelle in a brothel, she is for him an ordinary 20-franc whore. Two glances, two topological spaces rested against Rachelle, they reach out to each other, always crawling to meet each other on a multitude of points, but they do not have points of intersection. The set of points of the interior space of Saint Lu never intersects the set of points of the Marcel space.
The space of understanding is a set of points that have fluidity and fineness, they are interconnected in a structure that takes various forms without discontinuities. A typical example can be a cup of tea, turning into a bagel and back. Similarly, a person's thought makes strange pirouettes, takes on bizarre forms, but remains itself.
The Moscow kingdom absorbed the principles of the horde, the hierarchical structure of government and the reproductive internal slavery. It is clear that people gravitate toward freedom and try to find justification for their situation, the idea of a special mission of the Russian people arises, it draws the theory "Moscow-the third Rome" behind it, flows into worship and veneration in front of the vast territory of Russia, just not to see its woeful position.
Slaves explain it with an external threat, the Dulles plan to destroy Russia, come up with a world behind the scenes, are in constant hostility with each other and the whole world. Whatever other ideas come to mind in explaining his slavish position, it will still be the modes of escape from oneself and the search for another in his misfortune.
And those forms of escape are just flowing groups of points of space into different figures according to the principle of continuity and fluidity. How to jump off a track that has been rolling for millennia? What changes must occur with the internal space to overcome this horror? Here we go to a nontrivial topology and open up infinite worlds.
What was the main thing in the overflow of the modes in one another? Of course the energy of infinite flight from yourself! This energy is a case that reveals a fairly simple mechanism. Imagine a funnel, my thought, fueled by the energy of rejection of inner slavery, pushes itself outward, it constantly hits the wall of the funnel, at this moment there is an overflow from one mode to another.
Resting, in fact, the same thing, she falls exhausted into the outgoing point on the bottom of the funnel, returning to me. Again, I energize myself with my energy, a new monster is fashioned: the bracers, the myrrh-biting bust of Nicholas the Bloody, Matilda and so on ad infinitum. It seems that my life is full of adventures, ebullient activity, but in fact it is an eternal running on the spot to myself, that is the total absence of life as such.
And now, under the shadow of death, I stopped in an endless run and sent all my energy into my inner space. Attach mentally to the bottom point one more funnel, directed down. Here there is a passage through only one point of space, through myself, through the blocking of fear, laziness and hope.
The state of internal slavery is an invisible object creating a huge gravitational force in the same way as a black hole in space. This force attracts and repels, creates a field for an alternate opportunity to man. The group of points of this field is everything that can happen to a person, in other words, his destiny, in this case - to be a slave.
The man's effort to go inwardly shifts him to the horizon of events, the further existence of that person with the slave inside dissipates, and the passage through the wormhole pushes him into another space of understanding without the possibility of returning to the previous state.
So people change internally, as Woland dreamed, but I did not wait, I'm afraid, until now. Marcel wrote the novel more than a hundred years ago, invented a nontrivial psychology and phase transition, which physicists engaged in physics only in the 60s of last century, and recently three received the Nobel Prize. Do friends philosophy and discover the worlds more interesting than any fantastic film.

This is interesting, but I wonder if the "definite form" of these metaphysical objects is something you mean to have a definite location as in... in the brain or in a human, or if you mean this as some metaphor.
It's an interesting idea (thanks for sharing the bit about Marcel Proust... I know him first and foremost as a writer), but one I disagree with. I think so-called "metaphysical objects" have no location in space, but arise naturally from the rules governing space and time as perceived by humans.
Metaphysics exists only between the ears. About space I write as a metaphor. Psychological topology uses the methodology of dissipative systems. This it stands next to quantum physics, but its subject is not physical space, but in the space of understanding.
