Are We Addicted To Negativity???
Most will jump to the conclusion "of course not".
But is that really true?
We live in a world where we are controlled by scarcity, through fear, and with imagery of war, famine, and destruction. Many fear the future because of images created by the media which is nothing more than a propaganda machine.
It is interesting to note how many will have a negative view in spite of their claim that do not trust the media. The MSM is a programming mechanism, this they know. Yet when I discuss AI or a topic like that, they go to the dystopian view of things. They mention the "Skynet" scenario form the Terminator.
Do they not see that is a form of programming?
Some believe we are controlled by extra-terrestrial forces called Archons. The central premise of this belief system is that these beings, which are viewed as alien in nature, feed off our negative energy. In fact, it is all comprised under the idea that our entire world is meant to create fear for these beings to feed.
I will leave it to you to research this idea and the validity placed within it. I will tell you this is not a novel concept and many wrote about it for centuries.
My point is that why do we feed off negativity? Most of us are smart enough to know that the media is lying to us. We also know that war and the propaganda around it is used against us. Yet we still cling to the negativity as if it was a security blanket.
Our entertainment is violent. Football is the most popular sport in terms of ratings in the United States. Video games are all violent in nature. The movies with the highest ticket sales tend to be filled with action and violence.
We love to complain. This is probably our favorite pastime. Social media turned this into an Olympic sport. Anything that sucks in your life, I can top.
The challenge with this is that on the spiritual realm, this is akin to suicide. Many thought systems follow this same pattern.
Whether you think you can or think you cannot, you are right. -Henry Ford
We love to add to the world of negativity. Those who are positive we make fun of and "slap around". Life is a continued process of putting others down. This even extends into the home. Is it any wonder we are so screwed up when our parents were engaged in a process of trying to one up each other on the negativity scale.
What questions are you asking yourself? It is our questioning that leads to our results.
No this is not something from a Tony Robbins seminar. It is actually a premise of a paper written in the 1990s by John Wheeler, one of the leading physicists in the 20th century. He was the one who took the double-slit experiment and showed how it was delayed. In this, the experimenter decided to open or close a slit after the electron passed through.
His idea is that our entire world is a bit, answered with yes or no (similar to on/off in computer science).
I bring this up to emphasize our world is not how it appears. Nikola Tesla, someone I reference quite frequently, said that if you understand energy, frequency, and vibration, then you understand the secrets of the universe. Isn't it interesting that many of those who come from the belief system that the Archons are controlling this planet also state that the way out of this is to raise our vibration?
It is rumored that “Albert Einstein was once asked, ‘How does it feel to be the smartest man alive?’, he responded, ‘I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Nikola Tesla.'” Whether this took place or not, it does drive the point home. Tesla was one smart dude.
Do you genuinely feel better when you make fun of another? Is that what you need to feel good about yourself? Is your esteem so low that is what it takes?
These are questions that are often asked of people engaging in such behavior. Few take the time to look at it.
Those who had near-death experiences relate an aspect of the journey towards the other side. They tell of a process where they see their "life pass before their eyes". What is informative is many stated that "judgment day" was not from the outside or some external being. Instead, every emotion another felt as a result of that person's words or actions was relived. The judgment was upon oneself for all that was done to others.
Whether the Archons are real or not, if there is validity to it, isn't it a voluntary situation? We like to say we are enslaved but are we? It would seem the door to the jail is open yet we refuse to walk out. It is like the adult elephant that is held in place by a thin rope. After years of conditioning, it does not realize that it can walk free.
If the Archons feed on negativity, isn't the answer to starve them? Aren't we actually volunteer to feed them each and every day?
Even if this is not the case, why do we behave the way we do? Energy, vibration, and frequency. Do we like dwelling in such a low vibration state that much? Or do we just really loathe who we truly are? Most of what we do cannot be confused with coming from a place of love.
"I am the light of the world".
Is light not also energy, frequency, and a vibration?
What does all this mean?
That I cannot answer. What I can say is there is a deeper meaning to all of this and things are more than they appear. We should keep this in mind as we go throughout our day.
Who knows, there might be an Archon ready to feed off us at any moment.
My sense is they do not like the idea of Abundance.

I have often thought something similar, not about negativity but about human need for suffering.
See, it seems like it is futile to seek a life full of happiness and devoid of suffering - nobody seems to be able to do so while still living a full life. No matter what people do, they always seem to find something to be depressed and sad about. Almost as if there is a human need for sadness, just as there is a human need for laughter.
Is that something inherent within us or is it a path we choice/are conditioned for?
I think it's inherent to us. It's not a bad thing.
I think it may actually be an intrinsic part of living a fulfilled life. Just like laughter and happiness are, really.
Maybe it's because... WE LIVED thousands of years in scarcity?! No no.. can't be that at all! Haha
I think it's true. Contrast is what brings us expansion. If everything was just "good" all the time there would be no growth. I do think that this is a planet of contrast.
👏👏👏 I find that people who believe in positivity and the law of attraction usually have a negative and destructive world view. There are "negative" things in the world. But focusing on them does no good. Unless you intend to create a solution. A lot of people who do this are oblivious that they're doing it, though. As you said, negativity runs sooooooo deep. And actually, as you mentioned, I do think people really do have a very deep self loathing.
Edit: Man, there were some really good comments here!
Do you find that the people who believe in positivity and the law of attraction are negative by nature, or jaded due to a series of unfortunate events?
I believe all humans have been abused and traumatized - even those who we consider pampered. Because the human race has been ill for a very long time. Mentally, emotionally, physically. There are some tribes around the planet that are not, but...
Yes, I can see that. And unfortunately we swallow the tribes (if we don't outright annihalate them) instead of learning from them.
Truly you are touching on one of the deep truths of this life. It really does boil down to one question, what will we individually decide to choose in this life? Will we pursue unity and clarity driven from the inside, or will we pursue drama and suffering through a mentality of outside-in (the victim of life). It seems to require a lot of clarity and fortitude to even make this choice. Not making a choice automatically funnels you into negativity.
Unfortunately it's rare to find people who want to take that level of responsibility for their world and their reality. So we get cycled round in confusion and negativity, reinforcing it in ourselves and others. Seemingly all of this pain does serve a purpose, in that it makes people intense enough to make a deep inner decision in how they pursue life.
Circumstances definitely affect our consciousness. Yet still there are individuals who are strong enough to willfully manifest a more abundant life. These are the special task force alive on the planet now. I want to speculate that the special task force is seeding the right ideas and social structures to assist others in also disconnecting from negative tendencies. It's interesting that our fixation with negativity is so strong, that we can hardly believe that life can be effortless and fulfilling, and that we can make this work for all human beings. Mentally there is a huge obligation to what clearly isn't working.
A more appropriate metaphor might be clearing up the 'viral' forms of consciousness that dwell in scarcity, hatred, division and the like. This would allow our naturally capacity for abundance to manifest.
Aaaaand you resteemed @taskmaster4450? Yes, we are going to be good Steemit friends.
you know the secret of life is to be neither positive nor negative. but very few of us can achieve it. i think both negativity and positivity have very important roles to play. Negative and positive people maintain a delicate balance in the society.
if everyone was positive then there would be no disagreement on anything and hence there would be no progress.
if everyone was negative, then there would no progress because there would be no agreement on anything.
negative people are as important as positive people in this world.
My near death experience feels different than all I've read and heard about. I didn't have my past flash before me as so many make reference, I actually saw the future. I saw my children growing up without me and their sadness. I've raised then alone as we lost their father when my youngest was 3, and I saw them getting separated. The loneliness and sadness I saw helped me fight for my life. The pain I felt was so extreme I wanted to give up, but the drive to be there for my boys was greater.
I'm reminded of the term misery loves company. There are so many people who will create negative drama if there is nothing happening in their lives at the moment. It's like a drug. Personally, I believe if we began placing the focus on good and positive things- especially humorous as laughter has more energy behind it- it would catch on and overshadow the negative. In time. Humans are a species of routine. Habits are harder to break than make.
I actually do this. As much as I try to heal this, I seemingly self sabotage.
This is a tough one. Some of us grew up in a House of Drama, so that is all we know. We cannot "relax" without the drama, strange as that may sound, because we do not feel "at home" when things are calm- it's just not a natural feeling!
I used cause it myself. But then I had not one, but 3 boys, and suddenly I didn't need to create melodramatic arrangements anymore. It just sortof came with the bouncing bundles of energy and developed into a full stage production (to rival broadway) in tune with these ever growing male creatures :)
I think anyone can do the effort to be more positive. And laziness is too easy of an excuse. I'm tired of people complaining about everything and talking against others in their back.
The way we act means much more than what we say. Do positiveness around you, teach something to someone. Make contact, and let that cellphone at home. Change the way you are conditioned.
