"Prologue & Preface"
...I believe the way life flows is incorrect. It should be the other way around: One should die first to get over that, once and for all.
After that, live in a retirement home until your family takes you out when you are not that old to live there anymore.
Then you start to work, work for forty years until you are young enough to enjoy your retirement.
Later, parties, sprees, drugs, alcohol, fun, lovers, boyfriends or girlfriends, everything, until you are ready to start high school.
Afterwards you enter primary school and you are a kid that spends his time playing without a care in the world.
Then you become a baby and go back your mother's womb where you'll spend the best and last nine months of your life, floating in a warm liquid, until your life is snuffed in a great orgasm.
Now, That's life!

I just read a post from our steemian friend @lanzjoseg who according his own words, he is an "Educator by Vocation" and also my venezuelan countryman.
In his post whose title is: "A philosophy of life: What is you north? he exposes his point of view on the matter and at the same time he invites us to share ours in the comments section.
I have the hunch a great deal of you already knew about the existence of said post. Probably, because you also received his invitation to read his post through a little message/gift he dropped in your wallet. Following a promotion technique and marketing strategy mostly induced by our known friend @crypto.piotr who has been using it since long time ago.
Dear @por500bolos, I am sending this note since I consider that your comments are of great help for me and for those who read you in my publications would be a great pleasure to have your visit and know what you think about it. So, after having witnessed many times before, in the comments section of their posts, the variety and diverse reactions of the community to these type of promotion techniques thru our wallets. Some positive, other not so so. I made the decision to write this long article to answer to both issues. As to respond to what has been expressed in his specific post above. And also to shed some light on the issue of promoting their content through our wallets.
But yeah! I'm probably digressing... ¿Am I?

Yep!! rest, sleep and 'dream' as much as you can while you still can. Life is short and I've already seen too much of it myself as to have dared that now, thru my words & pictures, show you my witty cynicism in all its splendor throughout this post.
As many of you. Certainly I've already went through all the challenges, inconveniences and difficulties that we all commonly call "problems" within our own private and intimate faithful & hopeful crusade that we call life. And this is still an ongoing process.....

I'm currently living in Venezuela ya know. And apart from being already an old man with enough travel in life. As you will understand, I have now to be very careful with what everyone says and suggests when asking. I'm now alone and basically on my own from long time ago. Then, prolly the philosophy of elder people may well not match much with yours.
But then, it looks like I didn't clearly answered yet the main question that my countryman @lanzjoseg is asking in his post. ¿Isn't it? Ok, ok, don't hurry me. Right now I'm going there.

"Concentrating exclusively on our own bizniz"
Well, almost nobody can say with total and absolute certainty that their behavior and approach to life 'looking for their north' has been the most appropriate and fruitful. Everything has always depended, depends and will depend on what you have kept in your own head, your circumstances and what has always surrounded you so far.
The times change. They change all the time. And by these days, even faster than ever before. Therefore at this stage of my journey. Observing the things from where I am standing in this moment. I have to conclude that the earth revolves on its own axis. And to the extent that it does so, it also tilts from one side to the other in its movement through the space.
Consequently, the North is not always in the same spot or place. It always moves and subtly pivots from one side to the other. And no matter how many compasses or GPSs you are holding there in front of your nose. Most surely they won't serve to indicate with accuracy where your next step must be done all the time. You have to adapt accordingly!
The quest and tracking of 'your north' will always is gonna depend on your choice to follow your intuition in order to please yourself or to please those around you that matter to you. Those that you love and they love you back. It has always been this way. And that reality is not going to change any time soon regardless of cosmology.

Nonetheless and as a summary of this post/reply. I believe that 'above all' and regardless the ironic, sarcastic, cynic, heretic and outlaw old beast in which I've become today. My true philosophy of life always has been and still is:

On a side note, stopped paying attention to wallet comments a long time ago, I don't see them as the best way to communicate anything but, some people love them. Personal preference.
The idea of 'Your North' is much like an examined life except, people feel that they have to find something rather than actually examine their life and see what it is. The North even talks about a direction away from the current point, an external movement rather than an internal discovery. In my opinion, once the discovery is made, the movement moves from within outward as the direction is obvious.
Yep! it's pretty much like you've said. The exploration and discovery journey is mandatory and key here. Otherwise, you would only be spinning on 'your own axis' perpetually without changes.
Well, I can't help it, you know. On the edge of the cliff from which I am sitting right now. This far ahead, in the future. After my own long trip observing things with my feet now hanging in the void. There is not much to find ahead in front of me. And maybe that's why I tend to enter currently more times than necessary into an examination/revisiting mode way too often.
I guess it's just a natural syndrome we the elders enjoy at these heights of our marathon. Just checking a bit back in the past to see and confirm if we've accomplished our mission on this planet. And then, if anything, just share with others the vision we had in the quest of our own 'norths' with the hopes that these experiences could be of any help for someone else.
As I've said before in my post, there is no infallible compass nor gps that will guide you to find the north. Any norths. There are no true norths to find whatsoever. Walker, the path is made by walking. And the route you choose to take, it will not always is gonna coincide with the map you had previously drawn at a given time.
The earth moves and constantly changes its course. And with it the people who populate it. The same as our solar system and the galaxy in which it is located. Therefore there is nothing static. And the norths can't be static either. In consequence, it is and always will be a mirage try to follow NORTHS of any sorts.

Ahora bien amigo repito lo que te dije en el comentario me siento muy horrado por tener tu visita en mi publicación aunque se dio de forma inducida gracias a un memo.
Pero me causo mucho placer ver que mi publicación genero otra publicación con muy buenos puntos de vista muy asertivos, por eso nuevamente gracias.
Sabes en uno de tus comentarios indicas que eres muy viejo pero en muchos caso ser viejo no significa ser sabio y tu te llevas el honor de ser muy sabio al momento de responder mi pregunta la vejes creo que solo esta asociado a lo cronológico de nuestra efímera vida, solo podemos llevar la cuenta con unos números que no dicen nada a menos que nuestra vida sea genial a pesar de todas las circunstancias que nos toque vivir en su momento.
Tu filosofía de vida
Pero que pasa si llegare a pasar, somos de animales a hombres, y cometemos errores por desconocimiento o por ignorancia, que pasa si llegas a sentir arrepentimiento..
Por cierto te molesta que te siga enviando memos. Creo que funcionan.

Efectívamente, ser viejo no significa ser sabio. Y si ese es el caso, eso solo significa que no has vivido. Y justo por no haber vivido, no habrás adquirido ni vivencias, ni conocimientos ni experiencias. Y demás estaría decir que dificilmente sabiduría. };)
Justo en lo que dije antes reside el meollo del asunto. Mientras con suma atención más vivencias, conocimientos, experiencias y por ende, sabiduría adquieras. Menos expuesto a cometer errores que por desconocimiento o ignorancia luego al cometerlos te puedas arrepentir.
La clave para nunca arrepentirte (o al menos para reducir los arrepentimientos al mínimo) de lo que digas, hagas o emprendas siempre va a residir en que analices anticipadamente y con extrema atención cada paso que vas a dar. Y tomarte siempre el tiempo necesario para tomar tus decisiones sin precipitaciones, ni prisas, apremios ni apuros. Y todo eso cocinado bien a fuego lento con una gran dósis de curiosidad y con sentido analítico de antelación, exploración y descubrimiento.
Tranquilo mi pana, que conmigo no hay rollo con eso. Siempre voy a tener la opción de pararle o no bolas a lo que por esa vía me llegue. No obstante, como la vieja bestia muy curiosa que soy, muchos podrán dar por descontado que he leido tanto su memo como el post allí indicado. Lo que si siempre les va a ser más jodido quel carajo es que siga las reglas e instrucciones allí prescritas al pie de la letra. Jajajaja
Y por supuesto paisano, dirígete a mí en la lengua que más fácil se te haga. Si en español o en nuestro vernáculo castellano te es más sencillo expresar con mayor elocuencia y coherencia echar pa fuera lo que tienes en la cabeza... ¡Dale que son pasteles!
