When Conformity Quantifies Happiness. No Illusion Greater Than Fear & Objectivity As Remedy

Social Conformity derives from obedience: who doesn't get along with the Consensus is regarded as either a stranger, an eccentric - or even an anarchist. Conformists will generally follow the rules as a way to feel more secure. The idea to go sideways is perceived as a dangerous move and thus breeds fear. 

Feel good philosophies abound and often are "ego band aids" reinforcing Conformism. They can only help so far. There are no safe values within any pyramidal power structure. The main pattern of Conformism is that it essentially rejects the reality of what is -- and therefore finds optimism a lot more compelling. This paradoxically makes the Consensus extremely manipulable as the influence of the media prove it.  

Will we ever get rid of Conformism? 

The celebrity cult, big fashion brands and money chasing have molded the definition of Happiness, and thus Conformism, this also means that lots of people tend to spend more time fantasizing and also feeling miserable, and sometimes desperate, when they happen to think of their future.  

Most do not have the life they imagined as teenagers. Quite often the sentence 'I am happy', refers to social cliches, such as: owning a house/condo, having a steady job and hopefully a trustworthy partner. Maybe a kid or two and a pet. Anybody fitting this picture is deemed 'successful'. But something is amiss if we take a closer look: the dream is sustained by a borrowed future (national debt, credit cards, business loans, mortgages, greedy wall street shenanigans etc). 

Throughout the ages,  social structures always made sure to create entangled frameworks difficult to escape from.  And when one does, one generally has to leave almost everything behind. Conformism only changes paradigm when the media indicate the new trend. And as soon as the later is widely recognized, it becomes the new conformism. The only fashion to get rid of Conformity or Conformism is by embracing Reality.

Let's Describe Reality

Reality can only be defined by metaphysics but its realm is Objectivity.  Reality is not what one thinks it is but the comprehension of what always remains invariable and immutable. 

So how is Objectivity rationally obtained? 

In social terms, it goes along with rejecting anything coercive and following one's drive to achieve Creativity. Passion unites because it is all there is, while Fear divides because it is an illusion. Less fear implies more Objectivity. The individuals' drive to better society are complementary while a fear-based society tears itself apart over time, until an upheaval restores a temporary balance then starts all over again. A fear-based society is characterized by its cycles of destruction. In a creativity-based society, the priority is given to a non-competitive education (the quest for being oneself cannot initiate any form of meritocracy, nor be traded) and the protection of its children and Nature. Such a society is truly free.

In intellectual terms, Objectivity required to be centered at all time. And objective mind does not allow itself to get caught into polarized debates, resorts to critical thinking and does not follow any orders. Such a mind has also a great understanding of the cosmic forces at play deriving from electricity, which holds all atoms and galaxies alike together (what will be addressed in a future column). Fear causes the impression of separateness from the Whole/Universe and subjectivity thus divides the minds. 

Objectivity has to manifest a lifestyle endorsing the above and putting it into action. It is called 'active  and conscious knowledge' and regards the body as a Divine Temple, whereas faith in textbooks implies interpretations endlessly fluctuating, depending on the individual's background. Objective Spirituality is science based. The merging of science and metaphysics is the only way to end the conundrum, along with the duty to rewrite most scientific laws. 

Objectivity Cannot Be Money-Driven

What is the value of anything? 

The value of a three, for example, will forever remain the same.  It is because its value is speculated on that we have deforestation on one hand and other woods that sell for a high price on the other hand. Monetarism creates a duality that fits the 'money making' mentality but if we honestly look at the word today, indeed it is about time to take a deep breath in. 

Objectivity doesn't care about wealth, poverty, nor any whining of any kind. Have any world protests ever really worked in favor of the 'have nots'? The legacies of people like Ghandi, Luther King, etc were short lived because the 'fear element' has not been removed. Wealth is meaningless since we all happen to leave our physical body some day. Inheritance laws favor the wealthy for the sake of power, the majority of the population does not profit from them. 

A money-free society is the only way to reverse the debacle created by the enforcement and manipulation of Conformity, which has caused a state of moral and physical dependence on the system, which takes us further down as time passes by.
