RE: "How Did Such a World Exist?" - Episode 1, A Tale of Ideas and a Whale of a Question [Fiction]

Wow, that's something deep to think about there.

That’s why the stories from Earth don’t seem to make sense. Paper money? War? Homeless people lining the streets? Restrictions on what kind of energy can be used? Forced charity? How could such a world have existed?

I think about this all the time. People are raised to think that the world is out to get them and that nobody will help when they need it the most. Most economies are based around finite resources... sigh.. I think there's a major change in consciousness though, and we are are beginning to see things differently as of the past 50 years or so with a significant increase in the past 5-7.

I think you'll enjoy (if not agree with all of) the ongoing stories in this series and the views I present. I hope you'll follow it and continue commenting.

Many people think that for some reason, charity must be forced on others - through taxes or otherwise - just like you mentioned. But in reality, there are a TON of people who are willing to care for those that can't care for themselves. Just one of a few dozen topics I want to enlighten the world with.

Oh, and thanks for the Randowhale vote - much appreciated! (Even if I always get the low end of his "randomness")
